How to Book
All our classes are designed to promote optimal musculoskeletal performance – strength, flexibility and endurance, without the risk of injury or building bulk. With regular attendance, Pilates sculpts figures, builds lean, toned muscles, promotes core stability and balance, leaving you feeling lengthened whilst promoting a mind-body connection.
Our classes are booked on our Booking Page.
For those new to our studio or complete beginners, we advise you to book into our 30-minute Complimentary Reformer Induction class. However, if you feel you need more guidance, then you can book a private hour session with Lisa at a cost of £55. For the private session, please email Lisa at lisa@pilatesboutique.co.uk
Complimentary Reformer Induction
We strongly recommend that those new to our studio or to Reformer Pilates attend one of our complimentary inductions first. You will learn the essential safety features of using the Reformer and small equipment. In this half hour class, you will learn how to adjust the gear bar for your height, adjust the springs and the foot bar. You will practice various movements so you feel confident moving around and setting up the equipment during a group class.
Restorative Reformer
A gentler-paced Reformer class, ideal for more mature clients or anyone with joint pathologies, with exercises adapted to suit individual needs and an emphasis on functional movement. Expect lovely stretches to help release tight muscles, improve range of movement, and increase flexibility, alongside carefully selected exercises to build functional strength, balance, and coordination.
Essential Reformer
A focused, full-body Reformer class that builds on the basics and helps you develop consistent strength, control, and confidence. Exercises are taught with clear coaching and steady progressions, with options offered so you can work at the right level for your body on the day. Expect a balanced mix of strength and stability work, mobility and stretching, and flowing sequences that leave you feeling energised and properly worked.
Essential Plus
If you are carrying an injury, you must be able to manage it accordingly. Not suitable for those with Osteoporosis or joint pathologies. A well-paced Reformer class with quicker transitions, designed for clients who already know the Essential exercises and feel ready to progress their practice. You’ll move through familiar patterns with stronger progressions and less time between changes, so confidence with set-up and technique is important.
Intermediate Reformer
If you are carrying an injury, you must be able to manage it accordingly. Not suitable for those with Osteoporosis or joint pathologies.
A physically demanding, faster-paced Reformer class with quick transitions and layered progressions that move from intermediate towards more advanced work. This option is not suitable if you are new to the studio, and you’ll be expected to know your own body’s limitations and take responsibility for your choices throughout the session.
